I must give a big applause for those who invented the way how to book the seat in Hawker center by putting their belonging.
Only in Singapore, no matter other people are long queuing and hard to find a seat after bringing a tray full of meal, the KIASU* person doesn't care and book the seat for putting everything, most are tissue paper.
I don't blame them, it's definitely fine to have a friend to look after your table or seat while other friends are ordering ( like I found in any other country )- but book the whole table by putting tissue paper and leave it unoccupied for more than 10 minutes; and by the same time, other fellow try to find a seat and go around for more than 10 minutes only for a seat ( the same time also he/she will spend for eating ).
It's a really hard "find-a-seat-competition" for a single lunch eater.
I am not angry, but as the matter of advise, next time put your hand phone, laptop, your fierce husband or tiger to look after your seat.
*kiasu : term in Singapore that means die die must win - doesn't want to be in 2nd place.

Can't you just throw away the tissue paper or keep it in your pocket and tell them you didn't see any tissue paper on the seat if they came to you and demand their seats that they have 'booked'.
Hahaha.. true. Just think it's a bonus from the eating place, makan here get one tissue paper for free. Well, wait until one fierce lady come and bark.
