simply hot dog
When I was in the church this afternoon, I was thinking about hot dog. Ok obed, better concentrate listening to Pastor Prince.
Arrived home, within 10 mins, my hotdog is ready.

sop buntut ( oxtail soup )
I cooked sop buntut. Phew... really took a very long time to boil the oxtail. More than 5 hours in total.
When Bonge, Hill and matthew said it's very delicious. I don't feel tired anymore. Suddenly was thinking to open sop buntut stall when I'll reach 50y.o hahaha :P
Everyone was rushing to eat it, until I forgot to take a pic :(

one year in Singapore
Yeehaaa!! I made perfectly one year in Singapore..
I would say it was an extremely great working experience. May be after working in this country, wherever I go, it is just not good or fast enough
In this very competitive country or well, … kiasu... which the only resource is people. Therefore, everyone is compete with each to each other. Everyone is striving to the top. In a perfect competitive environment, you will get the best of goods / services, but also may find the worst of human attitude... Basically it's just like other countries. There are considerate and very kind people and also there are nasty and rude people, so it all depends on whom you actually encounter.
There are nice people who hold the doors for you, but there are also people who rush into the MRT as soon as the door opens - a competition to see who is the first to go in.
I still remember the first time I moved or relocated here, the first time I met my neighbours, I said “Good morning, how are you?” - like I used to do when I was in Sydney. What happened was they looked at me from top to toe with a strange look like I am the alien hahahaha…..
Working, Eating, Sleeping and Shopping are the best things to do here, while now I can add few like cooking, watching movies, partying and MSN chatting hahaha….
I love to work in Singapore. To retire? Hmmmm….. bali is still the best answer so far.

I got these pictures when I was in Jakarta. Born and raise in chinese family, still people ask me what is your race. Am I not chinese enough?

"Ok, we go lunch at 12, I will drop you to airport"
"No tan, thank you. It's ok"
"We go lunch at sari kuring, eat your gurame goreng kering, tahu goreng and sayur asem"
"Hmmm... ( think of how good is the food )...."
"Come on!"
"Ok, I will come to your place at 12"
"Good"
"Thank you tante, see you tomorrow. Good nite"
My thought is easily changed and distorted if someone offer me nice foods. Hahahaha....

I just about to sleep, well, it was a tired day. May be I was driving in about 4 hours. But could not sleep directly, still chat and watching DVD with annie, my sister.

Arrrggghhhhh !!! Traffic is so bad in jakarta. It took 2 hours from my house to tomang. Well, may be I feel it worse since I live in Singapore, whereby everywhere is so easy and near. My apartment in Tiong Bahru to office only needs 20 minutes by bus, or 8 minutes by taxi ( in the day when I am become a lazy bastard or overslept :P)
After finish all the things that I need ( may be must is better word ), I must to do, around 4pm, I went to my late mother's cemetery.
Was there for 30 minutes. I miss my mother a lot.

Red day

Wuah,.. today is Friday. TGIF and also jeans day. Thinking of what should I wear today to work. I feel like wearing red and jeans, then after work I can go straight away to airport to go back Jakarta.
Yes, I have to go back Jakarta today. Urgent family matter and need to do few things. Even I just bought the ticket yesterday.
Arrived office around 9.15. I saw my baby hippo also wearing red !! hahaha.... while waiting myh laptop on, we steal a time to take few pics. After taken 4-5 pics, we just realize that we are wearing the same type of belt.
Hmmm.. hippo, do you put a hidden webcam in my room?

Pho Bo Soup - Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup
It was wednesday nite, and also a last nite before I go back to Singapore. I haven't eaten the beef noodle soup street style. Well.. I ate in the morning in Hyatt, but to me, food on the street is always taste better than the 5 star hotel.
Astrida, Junio and I went to eat pho bo by the street. So nice, eventhought it was started with Astrida's screaming coz' there's a very big and fat mouse run into her. Huahuahuahuaa... honestly, I scare too !

I ordered vietnamese fried noodle and fresh spring rolls. Yummy! But the spring roll was a bit too much, I shared with Astrida. But she doesn't really like it.

Went with astrida to find food for dinner bfore meeting tomorrow morning, we walked thru le loi avenue and finally found nice restaurant on the smaller street. "Shall we eat there?" I asked her. She was just smile and said yes. I think she's hungry already. Let's go eat.

I am back to Ho chi minh city! well, just for 3 days business trip only but remember when I was here back in 2003.

cooked japanese food
Tried to cook jap food tonight. I cooked beef teriyaki and cut fresh salmon for sashimi.
Hmmm... nice. Matthew even ate 2 bowl of rice and ate more salmon.

Dinner time with matthew, bonge and asni. We were so hungry and ordered so many food may be like 2 appetizer, 1 soup, 4 main courses. Guess what? We can finish everything. Good job guys.
May be next time the waiter will give us bigger table hahaha... and 3 basket of prawn crackers huahuauahauhauhauaa.....

Don't know why i miss Singapore food when i was in Sydney. May be chicken rice, roti john and fish ball noodle are more suit to my stomach now instead of sandwich and salad.
I order noodle in the plane, it comes with barbecue pork. Not bad, but still kolo mee in hawker center near my office is the best hahahaha....

Surya really kiasu tonite, he can't stand to see people queue at din tai fung which just open in world square. He really wanna try it. Frankly, I have had enough of din tai fung in singapore hehehe...
Ok, we go there and let's have xio lung pao for our dinner.
Mia and putu andri joined us also... what a warm, sweet and happy family dinner. We were even happier after receiving beautiful dessert from edy. Thanks Edy.

It was beautiful, 15'c and the pier was so quiet. Only can hear the sea water splashed the boat and birds are chirping. Lovely.
Normally, I don't really appreciate this kind of scenery, but since now I am living in tiong bahru and HDB blocks cover my view. Hmm, it looks more beautiful now.
As normal, we just realize that there's no sunshine when it's gone.

Finished work and I was waiting for surya to come back home. By the time he opened the door, he screamed already. Oh, so long we have not met, so many stories been kept and haven't shared.

My gosh, I haven't finished this and I need to prepare that. But I need to catch up my flight very soon to sydney. To where? Sydney ! Ah... finally I go to sydney for have not been there like almost 1 year. Finally I finished my work at 5 pm and then I went back home for quick shower and went to airport.
I slept during the flight until the cabin crew woke me up 30 minutes before landing. After out the custom, I said to myself, hmm I am back home. Out of airport, ohhh... brrrrrrzzzzz.. so cold, it was 11'c, where is my thick jacket? Oh it's inside my bag. Hmmm...I miss singapore suddenly. Hahahaha....
